* Polyethylene is a material with a very high degree of polymerization, and high resistance to acids, bases, salts and most organic compounds and chemicals. PE is physiologically harmless and approved for contact with food (EU directives, PZH). It is used for sleepers in the industry for cutting meat and fish, as coverings countertops and tables in the food industry.
